Pouriya Miri is a young researcher, currently affiliated with the Laboratory for Data Technologies at FRI. With a background in Physics and web development, he is actively engaged in pioneering research at the intersection of technology and governance. His PhD thesis delves into the realm of e-government, with a specific focus on leveraging digital transformation to drive progress towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Pouriya's commitment to cutting-edge research extends beyond academia. He is a dedicated collaborator in various national and European projects, contributing his expertise to initiatives like the Digital Transformation for Smart Public Governance, funded by ARIS - Slovenian Research Agency. As a member of the BUILDCHAIN project and a co-coach and a reviewer in the TrustChain project, both supported by the European Commission, Pouriya plays a pivotal role in advancing innovative solutions for the public sector and promoting trust in emerging technologies.
