Courses offered

Faculty of Computer and Information Science takes part in several international programs, such as the European Union Erasmus+ and CEEPUS programmes, which encourage student and teacher mobility between European universities. The study programs of the Faculty are registered with the European Federation of National Engineering Associations (FEANI) and meet the criteria for the title EUR ING.

CHOOSING YOUR COURSES

The Faculty of Computer and Information Science offers several I. (Bachelors), II. (Masters) and III. (Doctoral) degree study programmes. Many courses of these programmes are also offered to foreign students, as indicated in the list of courses. When applying, please only choose amongst the courses listed below.

COURSES HELD ENTIRELY IN ENGLISH

All subjects of the Doctoral (3rd degree) programme are held entirely in English. Available are all mandatory courses and elective courses (for details see Doctoral programme description).

The following subjects of the Masters (2nd degree) programme are held in English:

IMPORTANT NOTE: Courses from the Masters programme can select only students who are already enrolled in the Master programme and in the 4th year Bachelor programme and have already completed 180 ECTS credits before the mobility/arrival to Ljubljana, mainly in Computer Science field.

The following subjects of the Bachelors (1st degree) programme are held in English:

OTHER SUBJECTS AVAILABLE TO EXCHANGE STUDENTS (IN SLOVENIAN)

For most of the Bachelor and some of the Master level courses, lectures are usually held in Slovenian language.

Exchange students are still allowed to take the courses listed below, whereby each lecturer decides on how course obligations are to be fulfilled. This may be through individual study of textbooks and coursework in English and by doing homeworks and laboratory exercises with all other students or through an individual seminar or project work. Written and oral exams are customary with most courses.

The following subjects from the Masters (2nd degree) and Bachelors (1st degree) and programme in Computer and Information Sciences are available in Slovenian with mentoring and examinations in English:
