- Workshop: Hacking home networks

To make students more aware of IT security and how to identify and defend against potential IT attacks and abuses in practice, Faculty of Computer and Information Science UL in cooperation with the NIL Learning organized a workshop about hacking home networks. We hosted a "white hat hacker" Matevž Mesojednik who told us about UPnP protocol. He explained it on practical examples and showed us how can a seemingly innocent setting become a really serious safety deficiency.
