The fifth Jota seminar of this academic year will be all about tools for anonymization of texts which are intended to protect personal data. The lecture will be held by dr. Aljaž Košmerlj from the "Jožef Stefan" Institute, on 16 March 2017 at 14:15 pm in P21 at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science.
Tacita - tool for verdict anonymization
The lecture will present a tool for the anonymization of Tacita verdicts, which was developed at the "Jožef Stefan" Institute for the purposes of the Ministry of Justice.
We must remove all the data from any verdict that could indetify those involved in the process. Tacita can predicts which parts of the text should be removed, and also helps in the otherwise time-consuming manual process of anonymization. You will learn how a tool was developed and which tools of natural language were used for analysis.
