Description
Matej Vitek is a researcher and PhD student at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He received his BSc in 2015 from the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics and Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Ljubljana, and received his MSc in 2018 from the same institutions. He co-organised the Sclera Segmentation Benchmarking Competition at the IEEE/IAPR International Joint Conference on Biometrics 2020. He has served as a reviewer for reputable computer vision and biometrics conferences and journals. His current research focuses on lightweight sclera recognition. His past projects included work in game development and artificial intelligence, as well as quantum computing and circuits.
