The OnMoveID project focuses on developing technologies for passenger identification while moving across air and land borders. The system is based on the integration of EU digital wallets, biometric recognition and sensor-based monitoring of non-stop crossings. The developed procedures follow European data protection and ethics requirements, and their effectiveness is being tested in pilot locations in Finland, Slovakia and the United Kingdom.
