PKP6 - Mobile Operating System for Industrial Use (MobiIOS)

Mobile device users often download and install several similar applications. This results in slower devices that become seemingly useless and outdated. This phenomenon could be limited with a defined set of applications that can coexist on the device. Smart application management can significantly extend the time period of effective use of mobile device. During this project we will develop an Android-based operating system, called MobilOS, that will intelligently sort applications and will allow the installation of only one optimal application of each type. The properties of recommended and allowed applications and other settings will be determined by the company or device owner. This will make MobilOS adaptable to the needs of end-users. With the MobilOS operating system, we will allow the user to use the same device for a long time with the same user experience.
