Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana, has been awarded with ASIIN acreditation for three core study programmes in computer and information science. The accreditaion confirms the quality of study and the value of our graduates and postgraduates.

The ASIIN accredited programmes are:

• 1st cycle professional study programme Computer and Information Science,
• 1st cycle university study programme Computer and Information Science,
• 2nd cycle masters programme Computer and Information Science.

The accreditation is important because it acknowledges the quality of study programmes that are internationally comparable. Therefore it creates new opportunities for international cooperation, increases the value of our graduates in a very competitive high-tech environment and speeds up the process of certifying accomplished education abroad.

The recognition of quality is a result of an independent international evaluation procedure, in which ASIIN reviewed the logics and efficacy of a qualification process within a degree programme, the attainment of the intended learning outcomes, and the engagement of relevant stakeholders that are decisive for the professional success of graduates.

The ASIIN association is supported by many organisations, which view the quality of university education as a central concern. They are associations of universities and universities of applied sciences, expert societies, technical, industrial and business associations. ASIIN specialises in revising and certifying Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes in engineering, computer science, natural sciences and mathematics.
