The ExtremeXP Summer School & Doctoral Symposium 2025 on Foundations of Human–AI Interactions, held at the Faculty of computer and information science University of Ljubljana from September 22–26, brought together early-stage researchers, PhD students, and experts from across Europe to explore themes of trustworthy AI, ethical data governance, and human–AI interaction.
The week-long program featured engaging keynotes, hands-on workshops, and a dynamic doctoral symposium, all aimed at fostering interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration. Speakers included Marcela Tuler de Oliveira, George Papastefanatos, Petar Kochovski, Nataša Atanasova, Georgia Gkioka, Keerthiga Rajenthiram, Milad Ashqi Abdullah, Pouriya Miri, and Vlado Stankovski. The organization was led by Atiyeh Ghane from the Laboratory for Data Technologies.
Beyond the academic program, a rich social program—including excursions and cultural activities—helped strengthen the sense of community and encouraged lasting collaborations among participants.
