Assoc. Prof. PhD Fabio Ricciato
Associate Professor
Room: R2.47

My current research interests spans various topics in the area of Communication Networks & Wireless systems. During my recent research activity I have touched problems related to Network Measurements, Traffic Monitoring, Wireless Localization, Wireless Sensor Networks, RFID, Network Security & Privacy, and others.

I received a Laurea degree in 1999 and a doctoral degree (PhD) in 2003 from the University La Sapienza of Rome.
Work experience
Before joining FRI in January 2015 I have worked in Italy and Austria. I held the positions of Head of Business Unit "Dynamic Transportation Systems" at the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT), Vienna; Assistant Professor at the University of Salento (UniSalento), Italy; and Scientific Area Manager at the Telecommunication Research Center (FTW), Vienna.
