The Faculty of Computer and Information Science offers four second-cycle master’s study programmes that provide a wide range of knowledge in the field of computer and information science and in related fields. There is major emphasis on the interdisciplinary linking of knowledge, so all programmes allow for cooperation with partner faculties and universities.
All programmes are evaluated at 120 ECTS credits. They are divided into two years, or four semesters at 30 ECTS each.
Enrolment in one of the master’s programmes is open to anyone that has completed a first-cycle programme (academic or professional higher education) or equivalent study programme. Master’s programmes are also open to students who have completed an old university programme but who are bound to pay for tuition in accordance with the valid price list of the University of Ljubljana.
Deadlines for applying for master’s study programmes:
Candidates should submit their application for enrolment in the desired higher education institution using an electronic application on the eVŠ web portal, and the call for enrolment in master’s study programmes is available on the University’s website.
Candidates may use a single application to apply for only one study programme, but there is no limit on the total number of applications a candidate may submit. What is important is the order of submitted applications for selected study programmes, since candidates will be placed in the programme for which an application was submitted first and for which they meet all the enrolment conditions.
Selection exams for Computer and Information Science, Data Sciences and Multimedia will take place on 15 September 2024.
